My name is Teresa Silvestri and I am an award-winning watercolor artist, specializing in pet portraits. I share my home and art studio with my husband and our two rescued dogs, Polly and Sydney, aka “the girls”. Sadly, Precious, my beloved husky, crossed the rainbow bridge in the summer of 2009 and is terribly missed.
When you commission a pet portrait from me, I enjoy capturing each pet’s special and unique personality from photos you have or take yourself. My painting style is representational and known for its softness, utilizing many layers of washes and glazes. It’s time-consuming but rewarding when I hear that I’ve perfectly captured a client’s beloved pet.
Once I paint your pet’s original portrait, I then create fine art prints and note cards which make great gifts for you and your friends/family.
